The full name of the Country of Congo is Democratic Republic of the Congo. The Country is in the Central Africa with a small length of Atlantic coastline. Congo is also the third largest Country by Africa. Congo gets the name from the ancient kingdom of Kongo.

Congo has a river that runs throw it that is called the Zaire River. Zaire River is the largest river in western Central Africa. Which makes it the second largest river after the Nile River and also the second largest rain forest in the world? There is a Democratic Republic of the Congo and Republic of the Congo and both lying along the Zaire rivers bank. The Zaire River is what helps the Congo people transport people and their goods across seas.

Congo has had two major wars so far. The first war started in the year of 1996 and ended in the year of 1997. The second war started in 1998. The second war directly involved eight African nations. The war killed about 5.4 million people from disease and starvation. The war ended in the year of 2003, the government created a national unity of 1,000 people died daily in 2004 by malnutrition and also disease.

The women in Congo are like every other woman near or by Africa. All of them treat their women with no respect. The men Congo rapes and buries their women. Moat of there women where kept as slaves. Lots of women killed themselves because of all the things that are or are still going on in their Countries.

Congo is one of the least known Countries out in this world. So many things are being taken place in Congo. Such as the wars, the transporting of goods and people and women getting rapped and beaten. So for me to do research on Congo it is very interesting to me because I never heard anything about Congo.
