Personal

I chose Congo as my topic because of the interesting things my teacher told me about Congo. Congo is one of the least unknown countries by Africa. Many people never even heard about Congo because there is not enough attention focusing on Congo and the problems that go on. Some of the problems that caught my eye was the way they bruised there women. In their country justified or right to beat and rape there women without any condense. But as soon as an outsider does the same thing Congo men are ready to kill them or start a war with them. Other thing that caught my eye was when they hay to train up younger boys to fight and to know how to use weapons so that they could be prepared to fight in the wars with them. The younger boys in Congo become little grown men at a very young age. But as the wars go on a lot of Congo men and kids are or were getting killed. Congo also has this river called the Zaire River that they use to carry goods and that the kidsuse to play in. the river is very huge and also very long. Congo is the topic of my choice because I never heard about Congo at all. I think that it would be very fun to learn about something that I never ever known that existed. It would also be interesting to lots of other people to because Congo is not a much known country at all. It is not a much known country because our news people or any body else it is not a country that we focus on because we barley even focus on Africa and the problems that Africa is having in their Country. So why focus on Congo a country right by Africa.

  1. Sharonda,

What an excellent topic. Although people don't know a lot about Congo, it has some of the most valuable natural resources in the world. I'll be really interested to read how your research affects the way you think about Congo.

Also, nice blog design. You might want to think about choosing a darker type in order to make it easier to read.

  2. Your images really enhance your blog here. The first one is startling and grabs the reader's attention, while the second one provides a much-needed visual cue for the reader to see where the Congo is located on the continent of Africa

  4. Congo is just another country in Africa. People always forget that Africa is a continent not a country. If it on the map it Africa.. Madagascar is the only African country that is not on the map but the side of the map
